    TD5 Hose Set

    Hello All,

Am wanting to buy the complete hose set for the TD5, as going on a longish safari in Oct.

Does anyone have the parts listing handy or point me in the right direction?

I have confused myself looking at various websites, 2004 engine. There seems to be a lot more to it than the V8!

Is the secret hidden hose part number P101980P?

    Many thanks Jerry

    Hi Jerry,

I did my full set a few months ago and bought mine from Allan at British Spares Hobart Tasmania he is easy easy to deal with knows his stuff is on the money for price and ships very very quick.

Can get genuine OEM or replica stuff...

Yes the secret hose part number is the one you have there.

    That's his number 61 3 6248 6121 .

    Cheers.

I was going to do that for my new Defender, but after the price got past $500, i decided on a few rolls of silicone tape as insurance. Mind you if it was a few years older i would replace them all prior to the trip,

a Safari in Africa? where to, we only here the horror stories here.

    cheers

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Well you could be correct but as long as you know where you are going all is okay.

I live in Uganda so yes on safari, and I too have a roll of duck tape!

Just wanted a set of hoses as there is no RACQ anywhere here especially north of the Nile.

Tombie: the none OEM are very cheap, no good?

    Anybody have a definitive list?

    Cheers jerry

Call Dave at ALL4x4 and ask him to do a spares kit for the trip.
Send it back and pay for what you used after the trip.
I cant comprehend the folly of traveling in remote areas without taking hoses because of the expense.
Do a hose in the wrong place and you will not only need to wait for the hose to be sent to you at great expense but you have the downtime to deal with as well.
