Yet to confirm with experience, but definately feels like it has better throttle response, not as much pedal to cruise on 100, and to top it all off I think it isn't chewing the fuel as much either.
At the same time I replaced the air filter and clean the MAF and MAP but overall very pleased with the results.

I'm sure that mine is not correct. And that's why I'm here, to ask the people in the know.

Sorry, I didn't stop and take pics and now it's dark. The lower end of the yellow tube joins at a T to a larger vacuum line. Make sure that is capped, otherwise you will have a vacuum leak. The rest doesn't matter. You can totally remove the blue and yellow tubes. Not sure why your blue tube is missing it's black connector? Was it ever connected?

I removed the blue and yellow lines and capped them off at the solenoid and then removed the yellow end from the T junction and capped the joint.
The ends of a plastic coated wire coat hanger has caps that works quite well.

I had exactly the same noise issue after EGR delete kit fitted.
Also, I had another BONUS issue since I bought the car that only happened in drive but not in Neutral or Park, the sound was like scratching tyre to the plastic guard at low speed, not very soundable to hear from outside but I could feel from the cabin.
Both of those noise issues are now gone completely after simply removing the yellow pipe then cap off the T and solenoid.[bigrolf]
