    ABS Block Wires Faulty/ Bared.

I purchased a Wabco unit second hand and when installed it the Dash lit up.

On investigation opening it up the wires were work hardened and a deal of the insulation (over 1 cm) had peeled back.

Is it likely that the unit would perform as designed in this condition?

My original unit was in sound condition but our 3 friends visited on occasion and the Nanacom showed valve fault. I refitted it as the block I purchased was in such poor condition.

What are the chances of the one with bared wires working without fault?

I'm assuming you mean the shuttle valve switch wiring.
Better head to the good oil and follow the tutorial on testing the Shuttle Valve Switch.

Your description isn't quite clear. What do you mean Nanocom showed a valve fault?
Was it an SVS fault or Solenoid valve fault?
