    Exhaust manifold studs, which ones

I have red a few threads about using stainless studs but I thougt I read it somewhere that someone had used Mercedes studs. High tensile and copper nuts have also been suggested.

What's the concensus on what's best.

I'm a bit dubious about using stainless in a alloy head.

Apparently these are what you want - Accessories | JE Engineering

IRB Developments also offer a similar product but there's are bolts with spacers instead of studs.

That's provided that your current threads are still in good condition. I had to have mine increased to M10 last time due to damage.

    Thanks mate.

I have a mate who needs to borrow the Disco in a couple of weeks then I'll take the manifold off before I order the studs. Just in case I need the larger studs.
