    V8 Alternator replacement

    Anyone replaced one?
    Not having access to my Rave Cd, anything tricky I should know about?

    '93 V8 Rossi
    '97 to '07. sold.
    '01 V8 D2
    '06 to 10. written off.
    '03 4.6 V8 HSE D2a with Tornado ECM
    '10 to '21
    '16.5 RRS SDV8
    '21 to Infinity and Beyond!

    Always 2 spanners on the electrical connectors otherwise they can unscrew out of the internals.
    Then beer
    also a light tap on the adjustable sleeves the main bolts go through makes it easier to remount the new one.
    then another beer
    Not that Bluddy 4X though.

    Only disconnect the battery before you remove it to prevent a short from the Battery to Alt wire.
    If your Radio is coded make sure you have code handy in case you need it after battery disconnection. No a hard or time consuming job otherwise
