Mine had 18 inch wheels when I got it. My first mod was to source some 16 inch wheels for it.

    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Lets be honest the 18's look better the 16's ARE better for offroading. BUT 18's are still better than 20's!!!!

Scott, how do the Maxis Bravo 751 AT compare for road noise on bitumen - 16 inch? And are they LT or an equivalent? Cheers Gavin

Hi mate. Mine are LT 245/75/16. Road holding and handling in wet or dry is excellent. Windows down can hear a slight wine which Michelin, GG AT2 and Pirelli Scorps didn't have...not offensive at all. Windows up all quiet in the v8...td5 wouldn't matter

    Cheers

Thanks Scott. Only trouble is I have a Classic Country with 8" rims and standard suspension (no lift), so may need to stick with the 255/70 as a minimum to be safe. Guess I'll reconsider the Pirelli LT AT, although Maxxix do say 245 can go on 8" (at the upper limit).
If only they made a LT255/75R16= 31 Inch.
