Liam. Any thing is repairable. In the mean time if you need diff lock you can climb under with a spanner and engage it.
As for spanner size, I have no idea as I own an 03. Ask anyone who owns a MY99 to when they deleted it.
Any thoughts?
My issue and wonder if you have heard of this, moving the stubby stick from CDL locked to unlocked recently there was a loud noise and for want of a better term it all went floppy. I can still select low/high but have had to disconnect the CDL cable at the tc, you can see movement at the selector but nothing at the tc end, seems the cable has snapped?. Are these repairable? Of all places to happen I was on the famous overland telegraph track in North Queensland.

Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I have disconnected at the tc and using my trusty 10mm spanner. Looks to be a sealed run the cable passes through, just interested if anyone has pulled one apart. I have asked ashcrofts who supplied it, hence the copy from an email.
Cheers Baz.

No rush, have the spanner although got bogged today through laziness, high pressures and no CDL stuck in soft sand...
Interested to hear what Ashcrofts say.
