SRS Light / steering wheel connection

After checking and soldering all the other connections, the problem seems to be the connection clip behind/under the steering wheel cover (not the rotary coupling).
has anyone got a fix for this?

    Thanks

When we took the Airbag off, and fiddled with the connector, that made the light go out. Maybe we should take it off again and see if the terminals can be spread a bit to give a better contact. Will just have to be careful, don't want it going off in your face!!!

How did you get to this conclusion?... cos continuity test could be tricky as iirc there's a shorting clip within that plug as to close the circuit once unplugged

    Question

SRS light is "ON" on the dash. Took the steering wheel airbag off and unplugged. Didn't do anything else and then put it back on. Didn't touch the rotary coupling at all. When motor was then started, the SRS light went out.

Possible Conclusion:- light stays off for quite a few days then comes back on. The plug that connects could have an issue??

    Any other ideas from anyone???

it could have been a coincidence too... did you read the fault code which pointed the deiver's bag?... cos there could be other reason too for the SRS warning
