easy as there are 2 torx screws at the rear and 2 at the front
G'day fellas,
I want to remove the drivers side rear seat temporarily. Is it as easy as it looks with just those two screws holding it in place or are there hidden snags I should know about. Cheers.

With the seat up, pull the front lower carpet out from the seat squab, and behind the carpet are two torx (T25 or 27 i think) bolts. Its a bit confirned working with a ratchet and torx bit behind the carpet (I used a hole saw and cut holes in front of the torx bolts through the carpet on both sides for the rear seats as they are in & out quite often in my D2).
Once those two lower torx are out, fold the seat back down, then release the base and fold the seat forward into the footwell, and undo the 2x rear torx which are now visible ... lift seat out.
Re-install is the reverse.
Hope that helps.
