If it's the same as the one they fitted to mine you wind up with two levers, which can be a trifle confusing. Works fine though. Can't speak for cost, it was there when I bought the car.

G'day Trog. I fitted the same kit as you, and the bracket does interfere with the oil fill to the G./box. I got round it by knocking the centre Torx bit out of its socket attachment, and using the bit with a ratchet ring spanner. If any one is looking to fit your own kit, it really isn't that difficult to fit, just fiddly. Take your time, read the instructions, all good. I think you just have to remember that if the engine is switched off and restarted while the diff lock is engaged the TC will no longer operate. I only engage diff lock with the engine running, and disengage the same. I didn't want to cut any wires to the ABS computer, and it works for me. It's handy to know how to check your CDL is working.

    To check diff lock adjustment:
    Put the handbrake on,
Put the mainbox in neutral and the transfer case in high,
    Jack up one front wheel,
When out of diff lock you should be able to spin the front wheel that is up in the air.
When in diff lock, the wheel should not spin,
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
