I replaced the bulbs in the ARB bar indicaters with evil bay leds to get the indicators back to normal in the dash, did the reversing lights too and made them actually useful for reversing! The reason stop light replacements throw up faults is the computer reads the low drain as a blown bulb.

ARB make a replacement LED unit for their bars and it is well worth it.

Yep, I see that But for 1 dollar a led I thought give it a try. And its not like Im outside looking at them when I use them plus the bar light lenses were in really good nick, not like they were in need of replacing.

LED replacement for 21 Watt high-mount centre stop light, D2a

In a similar but slightly different vein, has anyone found or tried an LED replacement for the standard, single-filament, 21W globe in the high-mount centre stop light housing?

This globe has one contact in the centre where it goes into the socket, and two pins on the side, that are not "staggered".

If so, could you please provide specifications as to what to ask for?

Also - did fitting one cause any problems along the lines of some reported above?

    Cheers, AndrewMilne
