Finally after 6 months I got around to fitting the OEM long lead RHF ABS sensor Wednesday arvo, just in time for a trip down to Normanville which seems to be the new hipster capital of SA.
It wasn't too bad a job, I just cut the lead off the old sensor and then threaded the new one through the hub then up through the firewall. Pulled it through behind the dash with a piece of wire and soldered it to the last 50mm of the original loom to the SLABS ECU. Codes cleared and haven't seen those four friends since!
Already saved our lives when a h-u-g-e roo jumped out in front on a dirt road back from the beach on Friday morning. Almost spilled my lactose free organic bean fair trade coffee though!
