Hi, you should double check with hawkeye or T4 cos i dunno which protocol they used for ACE in nanocom but it's completely unreliable in this particular area... afaik there is no temp sensor in the ACE system, be aware to not let it run dry that's important... also you can figure out while driving if it's in ''locked'' or ''floppy'' condition then the fault area is reduced cos it goes into one of these defaults according to the fault, locked = like on conventional anti-roll bars, floppy = no anti roll(you feel like in a small boat on a wavy ocean)

    ACE fluid

    Couple of questions
Was your last journey when the light came on a twisting turning route that gave the ACE a good workout.

Have you changed ACE fluid cleaned or replaced ACE filter in last 100,000kms.

The fluid breaks down over time like any other oil,
If it has worked hard and not been serviced now would be a good time.

If fluid looks dark and smells a bit burnt its
    deffo time to be changed.

yellow light may come on with low fluid level
less fluid in the system it may pick up air.

If fluid low have a good check of all ACE pipes
if you have a leak get it fixed,
if the pump fails due to low level it can throw the
drive belt and leave you stranded.

Reset and keep going... Not a show stopper.

Had it on a really hot day here (46c+) reset and nothing since.

I did give it a birthday with a clean, flush and new fluid soon after...

I observed that the oil change in the ACE system is kinda like in the auto gearbox, you can change only around half of the oil if you drain it only removing the filter from the valve block cos then the DCVs are closed and the fluif is trapped in the pipes/actuators, so you change only the fluid from the reservoir and inner side of the valve block... so if you want to refresh well the oil change it once then go for a bumpy ride with plenty of cornering then change it again.

when i changed mine i extracted the fluid from the reservoir(assistance at the ignition is needed to start/stop the engine on command)), disconnected the return pipe and directed through a piece of hose into a bucket, clogged the return port in the tank, took a 1l bottle of PAS/ACE fluid, filled the tank and when it was full asked my son to start the engine and kept filling the reservoir fast as the level dropped, when the bottle was empty stopped the engine and moved fast to reconnect the return pipe, topped up and that's all... drove it two days like this and did it again...this way there will be no air in the system.
