    coolant pump weeping v8

Coolant pump is weeping from the small hole on the right hand side above the inlet. Is this an easy fix or do I need a new pump?

New pump. That little hole gives you a heads up that the internal seal is on its way out.

If it is the hole in the pump itself a new pump is needed. The idea of this hole is for when the seal leaks, the coolant will run out the hole, instead of into the pump bearing.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Check your viscous fan coupling also, they also go and cause new fitted pumps to have short life spans.
