    Air conditioner not blowing

My Dad's Disco aircon is playing up. It was working fine this morning, but now it's not. Everything looks good on the display, but there's just no air blowing out of it. I checked the fuse, and it was fine, but that's as far as my auto-elec skills go!

    Any ideas?

Is the fan running, not sure of disco setup but some vehicles can suck plastic bags etc into recirculation position. This then affects fresh as well.

I don't think the fan is running at all.

You might want to try checking the electrical plug on the ps lower dash area that goes straight to the fan. If you unclip the lower dash panel cardboard cover on the ps and right in front of you see a whitish connector with 2 wires. I've seen many times the power wore in this connector gets burnt over time and looses contact. Replace terminal and should be good to go again. Hope this helps.

Also there are two relays at C901 and C153 in the pic, both involved in the blower function but easy check would be to unplug the blower at C056 switch on the aircon and check for voltage with multimeter in the plug... if you get voltage there it means the blower motor is dead which is not impossible either. if no voltage you need some electrician skills to know where to measure

JGC100430... why did you find voltage there and the motor is dead?

Not sure yet - I'll have a poke around tonight. Just wanted to see what the worst case scenario might cost.
