    I think Disco Mick hit the nail on the head.

    I was on THEIR site today and there was a 'review' section. I gave it a one star and said what I thought then erased the lot so as not to give them a leg up.

    Unfortunately the courts are facilitators of these ridiculous games...and are rarely able to call abuse of process even when it is clear that it is there......
    all the best with it.
    But it is a warning to us that unless you are willing push it for years then it might not be worth the psychological cost.

    Unfortunately, failing to record dates is exactly the sort of nit-picking which clever lawyers use in appeals to undermine the validity of findings.

    Small Claims Court

    Luckily lawyers are not allowed in small claims court, in SA anyway.

    Should have seen the lawyer bolt after the hearing the other day, she was put right on the spot by finding out what I knew and had done that she had not been informed of by her client!

    Oh, and we learned not to give up nearly fifty years ago when the Government etc refused to accept 'Agent Orange' as a carcinogen, we were right then and it has rubbed off onto anything confronting.

    Moral victory only!

    Well, re my last post, THEY won a review, we have to go to court all over again.

    BUT, I had a moral victory, the Magistrate ordering that THEY pay me $250.00 for stuffing me around, small victory I know but none the less I enjoy having it in my bank and the note saying "court ordered".

    It's quite sad to hear the SA legal systems has done its magic again. I don't like to see people getting ripped off for no other reason than either lack of knowledge, time or equipment. I don't think anyone minds a reasonable living to be made, but that place goes well beyond reasonable with second hand parts often costing more than new imported parts and that includes the cost of shipping! I hope some good comes of this. I guess if nothing else people may start to realise that that place has been less than reasonable for at least the last five years. I believe we have a couple of good land rover places in Adelaide now if you need a mechanic, I personally haven't used them but others have. That place however needs to be given a very wide birth. Just because its big and been around for LXX years don't mean its any good now, which is a real shame.
