Who has or has had Koni shocks, looking for feedback.

I think I have the same issue on the front of mine. How does an extended bump stop fit on the front assembly?

Also had issues with bushes on the lower front with the koni. Maybe I had a bad batch. I'm currently running some cheap repco maxitrac nitro and they are much better than the koni. Also even thought the konis are rebuildable its going to cost atleast a $120 a shock and more for re-valve ontop.

If your shocks are stock length there is no need to raise the towers ,it wont achieve anything except rip the pins off.

Yeh I know that, but they were 2 inches over stock.

Hello!

I run the +2" Koni HT with OME 779 in Front and spaced SLS in rear for a Year now.
Its much better on the road, sometimes a little bit too stiff. But at overlanding with a Full stuffed Car it changes to a very comfortable ride! High Speed Tracks in the Sahara Desert or fast Gravel Roads in Romania feel much safer. You dont get all these Hard hits and become shaked all the time.
In my opinion i wouldn't like it so much only for the road but for travelling are these shocks Top!

On the front have Koni longer shocks than stock and Lovells 'raised' but not heavy duty springs so the front is at standard height with bar and winch. This will potentially allow the shocks to bottom out.

Are the options to raise the towers or can I put a spacer under the spring?

I don't think spacers are legal, but what isn't ;), a 3rd option is to fit extended bump stops.

Raised towers and i wouldnt use spacers unless under the spring mount which wont work in your case.
