Windscreen water leak
Hi guys,
My windscreen has developed a leak at the top of the a pillar on the drivers side. When it rains I get a wet roof lining right in the corner sometimes wet enough to start dripping through quiet a lot.
Anyone had experience with this?
There is a tiny gap at the top is that supposed to be there? Or should I seal the gap up completely?
I will take a photo to show what I mean
Thanks

That's the water stain on the roof liner this is in very light rain.
A bit unclear but the other photo is the top corner of the windscreen

The windscreen is bonded in so what you have shown should have no effect.
I used to have some water coming in and dripping from the top of the door just at the front corner.
IMHO , it turned out to be the front mount of the roof bar leaking, so I filled the gap between the bar and roof ( all of them) with Sikaflex.
I drove 150Ks in sometimes pouring rain this morning and no water, although I admit I also silasticed the outside gaps as you show.
The wetness of the headlining back quite a way supports the roof bar, but it could just seep back there.

Look at "Removing Windscreen Top Seal" posted 20th January as Sierafery has posted a Technical Bulletin that covers this problem.
