Thread: intercooler hoses

Hi Guys,

What should the IC hoses coming out of the turbo feel like? I seem to remember reading that they shouldn't be squishy, but i'll be damned if i can find that thread again, in spite of searching. Just trying to work out if i need to replace with silicone. Ive contacted Bell in the UK, after reading some threads about the silicone hoses, and they'll have more stock in the next week or so.

My turbo side hoses are a little squishy, but the inlet side (into the EGR delete) is firm.

Also wondering who in Adelaide currently has a nanocom? Not sure how up to date the list is on the site.

any clues about the feel of the turbo hoses gratefully accepted. Also when to check? Cold or after warming up engine?
