    ECM heatsink?

    I have the correct replacement one and it looks like the mounting side had some form of tape? on the alloy block,

    are these mounted to a heatsink?

    I take it a V8 Motronic?
    The Motronic in my M3 did not have a heat sink.
    AFAIR it was a 3 layer ECM so a heat sink is unlikely.
