    Question

The ones we used to fit at the caravan yard where I worked did not fit on the other mirror but into the window channel. They then extended out on a fixed ally arm.
They are IMHO the best on the market for the job.
Sorry I don't remember the name.
They have a strap which runs down the door to the bottom and clips both top and bottom of the door with a ratchet to tighten it up.
They are the only ones that do not fold in when a semi goes by at speed.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards Nick.

I ended up getting some new fittings, but the way the mirrors are mounted is very poor. Yet set them at standstill, but when driving the wind pushes them a bit and the angle changes, only way was to point them up, so when your at highway speed the wind pushes them to where you want to see.

They are on the shelf now, but before i use them next im going to modify them so the mirror adjustments dont move int he wind.

I wish you could get those aftermarket extendable ones for the Disco like you can on the landcruisers.

X2 for Milenco. Fit neatly and securely and I never have to readjust them on refitting.

Some pics of then fitted up and more detail in this thread.

Yes it's a tight fit. I jiggle it in gently and it fits fine. Worst I've done is knock the door mirror out of alignment.

    Cheers
