Does anyone know what the maximum pressure that the the D2 puts into the SLS bags?
I am in the process of mounting an ARB compressor and was contemplating using it to run my SLS.
I noticed the compressor has a cut out switch that cuts off at 100 psi.

What does ORM mean? What about fully loaded with extended height selected? Is max 100 psi on the compressor sufficient?

That's what i meant, fully loaded at ORM(off road mode, where it lifts if you push the ORM switch) where IMO it will not exceed 75psi which means 100 psi compressor should be good enough, though in dont know how the compressor will be peaked to reach that pressure in the bags
in the worst case let's say if ORM is selected and the chassis is grounded then maybe the 100psi compressor will not be able to peak so hard to inflate the bagd more but it will stop in 25 seconds and maybe the height will not go above ORM height that's all
the fact is that i can't estimate what pressure could be in the extended mode cos it's automatic and it's hard to simulate it (dont mix the extended mode with ORM cos they are different things, see RAVE - SLS operation)
you can try with your compressor though just make sure it has a non-return valve on the outlet and if it doesnt have one from factory then put one between it and the valve block cos it's important

Hmm,, I seem to remember one side took less than the other to achieve level.
and one took around 75 unloaded,,
I am not sure you will get the exact Psi you are looking for.
I would think no more than around 100 psi should do,,

If I recall correctly in RAVE, the compressor's internal relief valve relieves at 150 PSI, something I confirmed when I rebuilt mine. Therefore, everything after the compressor would be rated at that pressure. Now I've custom built my camper trailer axle using all Disco parts and whilst testing, I know it needed ?70 psi to hold up the lightly loaded axle (around 1500-1600kg). I'm unsure of pressure at gross axle weight but would imagine it to be ?100psi.
Good luck in plumbing it up too, as the compressor has it's own exhaust port of which yours wouldn't (unless that is, you intend to try and adapt the components).
I wanted to install my compressor with external air fitting for tyres etc but I don't have the time to mess with it. It can be done but wonder if worth the effort?

Plumbing it into the SLS is not hard. I plan to completely remove the original and go with the ARB as this will remove one more weak point from the vehicle.
Are you referring to running air from the factory SLS compressor or a remote one?

There's nothing in RAVE about any pressure, the only simple way to connect an external compressor is with a T piece into the old compressor's supply pipe and the electrical feed routed to it but let the original valve block and the exhaust valve connected, it also has a mechanical overpressure release valve to protect the bags... as mentioned the original compressor has the exhaust valve attached too and it's needed by the SLS for proper functionality

Apart from the overpressure valve the disco system is almost identical to the SLS that was standard in SWMBO last Ford Fairlane.
These vehicles also had a very expensive and unreliable compressor which incorporated the air exhaust valve.
I successfully fitted up an aftermarket compressor into the boot(trunk)
The original was located in the RH wheel arch behind the headlight.

You're right Dave, plumbing/wiring isn't an issue as long as the person has the ability! There is more than one way of skinning a cat!
I wouldn't use the factory compressor for anything else other than SLS. I considered installing my own compressor and using it for SLS and tyres - sorry should have made it clearer.
