Car struggling to start some times 04 v8

    I have a 2004 v8 auto with 140,000 km

I was a friends house helping him with his car.. I when I got there "I have a 2.5 exhaust I was reving it showing off my v8 sound"

And all of a sudden it stalled ?

I tried to start the car after and it would struggle and stall? And after I tried to crank it and it would turn over but the revs would be really low and I would put my foot on the accelerator and it would delay in revs and would stall or would rev up? Or when foot down on accelerator it wouldn't even more the revs and stall?

It will also all of a sudden rev up and be normal ?

The car drives normal once started properly and idle normal ?

I hope I have been clear with what I said..

Any Feed back would help and what the issue could be...

    Thank you

    Keith

I had a similar problem on a customer's car, he had done some work on his V8 D2 and it wouldn't run right and stumble and stall and when warmed up it ran better.
I had a look and discovered he had forgot to put the lead back onto the IAC (idle control valve). After I plugged it back on it ran as normal

Have you had some one put a diagnostic on to it to check some readings.
Could even be a crook plug or lead
