New toys for my Disco! WOOHOO!

So I went and picked up a donor vehicle today! Pretty excited, it's a D2a V8. Planning on taking the nice bits off for my daily. The guy was selling it cheap, he couldn't get it running. He said he had put a new BCU in which came with the ignition barrell/key he bought, instantly rang alarm bells thinking it was just needing to be synced. Got home, plugged in Nanocom, synced and BAM! Runs like a champion!

Thinking I'll steal the headlights, CDL (I've been looking for one forever that didn't cost the world!) and instrument cluster.

Big pimpin' rims haha - 22inch!!! Crazy!

First time towing anything this big with the TD5 and was a bit slow on takeoff but kept speed really well.

Just wanted to share with everyone

If your gunna steal the head lights from it for your D2 then expect a bit of frigging around as they are not a straight swap, some panel beating is required to get then to fit.
    Cheers,

Yeh so I've read! They look sooo much better though! From what I can tell, an angle grinder fixes most of it.

Let me know if you need anything off it, Mario haha

Just a question. Why not keep the D2a rather then dismantle it?

The sad fact is that they just don't hold too much value 😟 interior isn't great, some panels are dented, I want some stuff...
If it was td5 I would have!

It's far too early in the day, and the week, to start this conversation, Mario!
