Possibly from the power steering pump mount, there are some hidden bolts around that area. They are also used to bolt pulleys on. Maybe for wiring harness clips or heater pipe brackets.
Could someone please identify what these bolts are for and where they go?
They are not for the engine mounts or transmission mounts as these bolts are slightly longer and are a gold colour.
The 2 unidentified bolts are light grey like most other bolts on the disco and appear to have an aluminium coating.
I have recently rebuilt the engine, it runs very well and i'm confident these bolts are not from the inside of the motor.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Have you removed the EGR?
They look like the two bolts that hold the pipe to the block.
Well done on the rebuild .
Hard to say , but maybe lower fuel cooler bolts or rear engine lifting hook. Possibly the coolant pipe to the left hand side of the head
What's the size?
Thanks fellas. It might have helped if I mentioned the size of the bolts. They are about M8 with approx. 13mm or 14mm head.
maybe lower fuel cooler bolts or rear engine lifting hook. Possibly the coolant pipe to the left hand side of the head - I think these are all about M6 smaller than these two.
They look like the two bolts that hold the pipe to the block. - Do you meant the pipe on the front of the head? Not these as they are smaller than these bolts, and EGR is still fitted although it has been blocked.
We used to say "If in doubt, leave em out" - I've done this so far, but would rather put them back

Maybe for wiring harness clips or heater pipe brackets. - They might be for the power steering / water pumps bracket, i'll have a look. The aircon is bolted on this bracket also as far as I remember hiding everything below it.
Did all the torque convertor bolts go back?
looks like nr 3 lower fuel cooler bolts Allbrit.de - Ersatzteile f?r LAND ROVER & MG ROVER , (M8 x 20)those for the engine lifting bracket have the same part number though these seem a bit longer than your's
