    Tough Dog adjustable shocks

My wife's back is getting so bad that she's now refusing to travel in the D2 unless I soften the suspension.
I'm therefore considering installing these so I can tighten up the suspension when needed.
So I'm looking for opinions on the best way to go. Note I have SLS and a 50mm lift which I would like to keep.
    Cheers all.

My only experience in using the Tough Dog shocks has been on the Discovery 1. The adjustable setting (I think 7 or 9 from memory) really do work great.

The softest setting, its like an old school Range Rover classic and tacks like a yacht round corners. Hardest setting is firm and corners very flat.

What is great about them is you can have them firmer when loaded to control body movement or have them soft when doing rock climbing etc etc. With the in car kit you can do this on the fly!

P.S Keep in mind if you currently have the standard shocks (or old shocks) on it that have never been changed, then that "hard" ride is because they are worn out and there is no dampening, just putting on new shocks may well improve ride quality enough to save you.

I have adjustable Rancho's on mine and the difference between 1 and 9 is 400% officially.
3 all round around town, 5 on the rear with the van on. No Bounce. not even a little.

I understood from years ago the valving in the Rancho shock also suits air springs well.

That's not a recommendation from me to buy Rancho though!
    Cheers
