    Diff Centre D1 to D2

    Hi

Just wondering if it is possible to fit a discovery 1 diff centre into a discovery 2
    I've been offered a diff locker from a d1.
are ratios the same? and are there any problems I might encounter?
    Thanks
    Dave

When I changed over to my D2 I swapped the centres from my D1 as they had lockers fitted. So yes the D1 centre will fit straight in.
    Cheers, David.

If the D1 rear diff has been converted to Uni instead of the rubber dounut you will need the rear tail shaft.
I have the rear locker out of my old D1 fitted to my D2 complete with tailshaft with uni`s from a RRC in my D2
