Removing side trims to fit sliders

    Hi guys,

Just removed side trim below the doors in order to fit some sliders and I came across this bolt that looks like it holds the bottom of the front wheel arch panel in. It seems pretty important, so I'm keen for some advice. It sits where the sliders need to go.

What have others done? Is it safe to remove it? (Doesn't seem likely). Can I cut the excess thread from the bolt to make it clear the sliders?

I left mine as is. Did nothing to the bolts. From memory they were there for securing the trim.
