Very tidy and looks far more sophisticated than the Hayman Reese one I have ( somewhere in the shed)
    I want one like yours!

Nice install there, that is the same controller as I have. They are good and can do Electric brakes or elec over hyd you just change the settings. I unfortunately have a boost gauge in that spot.

I've attached pics of the trailer to show you the marine type setup. You can see the pump (Hydrastar 1600) which runs the twin piston calipers. And there is a backup battery for the breakaway system behind the pump in pic.

Our trailer already has discs. Could I simply add the electrically operated hydraulic pump to the existing system? I'd a thought that the calipers should withstand immersion, washdown after.
Maybe these questions seem dumb but I don't have the experience and live out in the bush and have no one with the knowledge to ask.
    Thanks,
    Pete

Salt and fresh. Forgot to mention that we have 2 trailed objects: a pop-top caravan with electric drum brakes and a 1900kg trailersailer with over-ride hydraulic discs. We do not intend to saltwater immerse the caravan.
Looks like we might be shopping for the Prodigy and not looking in the shed for the Hayman Reese.

Yes you can just add the pump and change the coupling to a normal one. Don't know your law in Aus but the breakaway kit maynot be required depending on weight.

And if you get Prodigy P3 controller it should be able to operate both trailers. I think you can have 12 different setups for different trailers in it.

Obviously with saltwater just washdown components that get immersed as you probably do with your current setup.

Why the $245 Tow Pro rather than the Prodigy for $165? What advantages for the extra $$$$$$?
    Thanks
