    Fuel consumption

    Disco2 td5 manual,In Tassie i put in $50 at $1.44 a lt that was in round figures 35lt of diesel
    i zeroed my trip and i am going to do close to 500ks on this fuel, 14km/lt is this normal, it seems very good economy to me ,not that i am complaining

    Must be the cooler air down there. I have never gotten better than just over 11km per litre out of mine. Enjoy

    I am in Tassie and certainly don't get that. Although an auto mine is around 11/100k last time I calculated it.

    I did fill it up last night & reset the odo so will keep you posted given current temps.

    No you're not No way you're getting 7.4l/100km

    If you're depending on the fuel gauge, they dip a lot quicker at the bottom end of the gauge...

    10.3l/100ks is the best I have got from a full tank in our old TD5 D2, pretty good considering how modified it was and the weight, that's urban ks though, mix of stop/start and highway.

    Strange coincidence, 10.3l/100k is the best from our D4, that's mostly highway/freeway though.

    Fuel Consumption

    I consistently get between around 10.0l/100km on highway travelling and 12.0-13.0 l/100km in city driving.
    Towing my 21.5' caravan its 18.0l/100kms.

    If it was filled up the spout, come back to us when you fill it up the spout again and tell us the KM and Litres used. Other wise you are just trolling.
