    best place to mount cb remote module in d2

    I have just brought a icom 450 uhf cb where is the best place to mount the module, I have already got the factory stacker under the drivers seat. I would like to have the mike on the side of the console. it came with a 2.5 meter extension cable.

    Another spot could be on top of the Automatic ECU bracket under the front passenger seat.
    I had an air compressor under there.
    Not ideal if the floor get wet from a river crossing though
