			Before replacing the switch , just check the dash display correlates with what gear you have selected, also turn wipers on and select reverse to see if rear wiper comes on , if these do what they are supposed to then the switch is fine , it should go in to gear even with faulty switch , if the oil level in transmission is OK and the filter isn't blocked you probably need another trans  as the clutches in that one are probably u/s. You can try doing as dazza  suggested to get it moving if you need to but keep your foot on the brake.  Dazza , what do you do with the auto's you remove? Would you let me have one  in exchange for beer:angel:
