Update
It's all back together and running well. What did I find....
Well I had discovery autos mechanic come to my house and look and hear the motor running. He said to me that he could see and hear no evidence of anything mechanical that was damaged and to him it sounded like it was pinging. He suggested that I replace the injector again with my original injector that had failed , that I had replaced the solenoid on with the solenoid from the faulty leaking injector.if it was still the same then to bring it down and he would replace the injector with a new one or find and fix whatever the problem was, so I did just that , fitted my original faulty injector with new seal and washer adjusted the bump stops on all of the injectors , bled the system and fired it up. All was good sounded great . I let it warm up and no noise and no missing. I was very happy.
I checked the cylinder balance and it was between 1 and 4 plus and minus on all the 5 cylinders.
Now for my delema the codes.
What code to I put in for injector number 4 it was my original injector but with a different solenoid. Do I use the original code or do I use the code on the other leaking injector solenoid.I ended up using the original code as it seemed to run better , smoother with this code.
I could not find very much on what I had done as I don't think many would have even tried swapping the solenoids over. It was only 2 screws to undo and replace. The solenoid only is a valve for letting the deisel in. I figured that the injector when originally setup from factory is checked for output and spray pattern and that the solenoid was only a valve and may not have that much effect. I really don't know as I ain't no expert on them.
Hopefully my problem may or may not help someone in the future as I have never seen or heard of the problem that had with this particular injector issue.
Brad one happy Td5 owner again!!!!!

check the resistance of the solenoids, if they are the same use the value off of the old solenoid.

The code must be the one which was associated with the injector so if you have the old injector back with other solenoid the code should be as it was before with the bad solenoid

Good outcome! Even if there was a bit of running around!
