Moving bolt onto heater pipe bracket

I've taken the turbo heat shield off as it was broken, there was 1 bolt and a metal zip tie holding it on, the other bolts were missing, rivets snapped and part of the metal broken too. The bracket for the heater pipe now needs a bolt to hold it in place at the back of the engine. In the attached image, can I cannibalize a bolt from the black plate (red circle) and move it to the heater pipe bracket (green circle). The black plate isn't holding anything except the heater pipe at the front of the engine. Is this possible or do I want to move parts that are critical to something else?

Take the lifting eye bolt out , go to your nearest hardware and match it up , from memory its just a standard m8 x 1.25 . about 20 mm long
Make sure the new bolt is not too long and doesn't bottom out

Yes you can do this. But as Discorevy said it is an easy bolt to replace, if you take the bolt you suggested to autobarn, super cheap or repco they will have a bolt stand you can match the thread too.

I guess it depends on the likely hood of anyone having to use that lifting eye to remove your engine.

Made a trip to Bunnings after work the other day and found the right sized bolts for the job. Fixed a problem, not the problem I hoped it would fix though :/
