Swapping a V8 out of a 2004 model into my 1999 and have noticed a few things are different. Can I use the engine loom off the 2004 with my 1999 ECM?
Cheers Stuart

Thats not a problem if its the same series of vehicle , ie 4ltr from 2004 into a 1999 d2 - no one would know anyway.

In NSW you can fit a 4.6 from a p38a into a Disco 3.9 and it only has to be checked by a Blue Slip inspector, as it falls under the same series of engines and the less than 20% increase in capacity.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
should be the same loom,,
as for the different ECM's, you'll need to look at the part numbers
