    Sls airbag issues

    Ok so I have replaced the airbags with new conti as it was saying in the rear mainly left side. Bags installed as per manu specs and pumped up fine. Wife took it to work and down again. What could it be as bags are done so I'm guessing compressor or line. As its fine when your driving.

    check for codes with a nanocom it could be height sensor valve body or compressor

    squirty bottle with soapy water.try the hose were it inserts to the bag first.Then the connections at the pump.

    Leak in the connection?
    Leak in the hose?
    Electrical fault?

    The first time mine failed it was a hole from rubbing in the emergency inflation hose that the previous owner had fitted - I improved the hose route and fitted protective covering. The second time was a failed airbag and the third time was a year later when the other side airbag failed (I expected it as I had only replaced one side during the first airbag failure). Since then no issues!

    New airbags in when removing airline from near compressor noticed it would not tighten on the side that leaks. Thinking this is the problem. Slow leak. Would some pluming tape fix this

    Just remember to put chassis on blocks!
