I just put a deposit down on an outback accessories battery tray - can you all advise whether this is a wise idea or whether I should use something else?

The deep cycle battery is near new 95ah hi tec brand.

I kind of like the idea of fitting the compressor under the bonnet but the passenger jack compartment also sounds like a plan.

    Any help would be appreciated!

The bloody things don’t have enough capacity anyway, don’t know what I was thinking. They were in an ARB battery tray with heat shielding form exhaust manifold, V8 engine.

Am going to sell the battery tray and put a descent sized battery in the rear. One I can pull in and out easily, so I’m not lugging it around for the other 46 weeks of the year I don’t go camping.
