APT gear - Adjustable Panhard Rod etc

    Hi all,

No two LR's are alike. Mine has a 2 inch lift - Dobinson - but the right spring is impacting the chassis rail on compression. Ben, owner of APT, is supplying me with an adjustable rod to allow the re-alignment of the front axle (and therfore springs).

I havent been down to see him since he did my (excellent) rock sliders and side rails. I dropped in yesterday. His stuff is excellent. I am eyeing off his laser cut steering guard and other stuff at the moment. For those of you who cannot drop in and see his gear (eg down southers) dont hestitate to buy. I would get Ben's gear over any other manufacturer. His gear is excellent, his prices are very reasonable and he is a very good bloke to deal with.

Great to see a local manufacturer doing such great work. He has been around a long time and loves his LR's.

    Cheers

Completely agree. I have so much of Ben's gear on my vehicle it's hard to class it as a Land Rover any more. It's almost an APT Defender.

    Me too,
I have his steering guard, sliders, fuel tank protector and oversize wheel carrier on my Disco. All well made products and living up to their rugged design roles in style. I often jump on his website looking for any new stuff I could use.
Its good to hear others are happy with his products as he is super helpful and all round good guy to deal with.

    Bravo Ben

Very happy with my sliders and steering guard from Ben. And I'm really looking forward to the new products he has planned for the D2.

Very happy with Bens' equipment and service.

We had a few teething problems but Ben was on it quick smart.

Be aware that the panhard rod length for D2 and D2a is different. My D2a required an adjustable panhard rod with the 3" lift to stop the spring on one side (I forget which now) touching the chassis rail. No one seemed to make one for a D2a so I ended up using a Nolathane one for a D2 and shortening it to suit.
