    What is different?

    Hi, I've just gone from a 1999 to a 2002 Disco, both TD5 Auto, what main differences am I likely to come across?

    You might have the centre diff lock in the 2002, The headlights will be different as well.

    The different headlights didn't come in until 2003. If anything there will be CDL internals but no operator lever in the 1999, and no CDL at all in the 2002.

    The 2002 will be EU3 and have 40NM extra torque.

    It will have a fuel cooler on the front of the engine, the later injectors and FPR etc etc , Oh and the later flashable ECU.

    Apart from model differences from 1999 to 2002 that is about all except that the 2002 does not have diff lock at all.

    Fuel cooler remains in the same location as EU2.
    The EU3 has an EGR cooler on the front of the motor.

    Are the headlight the same?
    If yes then no CDL internals
    If no the has CDL Internals and connections, EU3 engine with EGR cooler.

    My D2A was built in Nov 2002 it has the new look headlights etc.

    Are your headlights the square shape, or the newer pocket style ?
