It also depends what tyres your running size ect also how you drive
I just come back from a weekend noth west of the state (vic) Towed the camper and mixed some 4wdriving and city driving and im at 760ks and just hit 1/4 of a tank

My TD5 gets close to 600km with less than a tank (never seem to be able to fill it up to the top - only gets to the 7th mark on the gauge) around the suburbs, with a full length roof rack and bar on the front. I also know I've got an exhaust leak I've got to fix.

I know when I got the Disco, pre-roofrack and exhaust leak, I managed over 800km on highway runs.

I've done pretty much the same drive minus pulling the camper and I'm at about 475 km and I have about 3/8 of a tank left.

You are running larger tyre`s which throw your odo out and slightly over gear it.
When i run my 265/75/16" muddies im lucky to get 700 out of the tank

I should add 245/75/16 AT's, EGR removed as well as many mid-muffler. Think my speedo is about by 5% due to the tyres.

Have you allowed for the + 5% in the calculations and is this brimming the fuel tank ( you can get at least another 10 litres in the tank........ slowly after the bowser clicks off ).... I usually get 850 from brimmed tank till fuel light then fill up, around 75% country driving, usual engine breathing mods , custom remap , match ported head , bigger intercooler , auto , 245/75/16 d674 muddies .

i had been getting 800km from my 4.0
