A good site is Lrparts.ru
They have the online microcat...
I've pulled the turbo head shield off to trace down a coolant leak, see photos.. it's been like this for a while I think (and would explain the smell of hot coolant after pulling up).
So since the exhaust manifold has to come off, where do I go to find out what gaskets/part numbers etc are needed to order before doing the job.

I looked at this and the bottom left hand number is LB0112, the gasket is numbered 2 so is the gasket part number LB01122? It isn't, so how do I get the part number from microcat?
I put this search string into google "land rover td5 exhaust gasket part number"
and follow the link to ebay and get LKG100470 and roverparts has them for $22.00

I'd like to know how to pull the part number off Microcat.

The other issue I have is that this becomes a weekend job.... so it's about having all the bits you'll need as it's not like I can just duck down to the local supercheap to get missing bits and pieces.
Looking at RAVE, looks like the turbo has to come off as well, so over the course of doing a job like this, with various bits being taken off, before starting, do you sit down and look through the work required noting the steps and building up the required list of items... makes sense when you type it out.
I'll have another search of the site to see if there's any hints/tricks/tips with this job.
I find the English version easier

Just to be clear... What exactly is leaking? Looks like the plug in the head.
You only need 2 gaskets (manifold to head and turbo to pipe but you could reuse that one), I'd recommend new studs and nuts.
Then just remove the plug, put some sealant back on, and refit.
Yep, it's the plug in the head that's leaking.
I've got all the gaskets and washers and I have replacement studs and studs. So doing the lot. Bit of a bugger given it should have been done 2 years back when the head was done.. oh well.
Given what I'm saving in labour/workshop costs I don't mind replacing the bits that need replacing or buying a tool or two.
I think I'm right for the weekend now.. just a bit tentative for the first time go at doing anything like this.
I thought about that, and probably should have, but it's fairly new and still quite pliable. Now that you've mentioned it I'm a bit annoyed I didn't get a replacement.
I was surprised at the cost of the original hose so didn't get it.
I also came across a post where that pipe has been removed. Been wondering if that's not a better solution since there's no EGR any more.
