    Hi Devo,
2 TD5 cylinder heads for sale on Gumtree, one in Armadale one in Bunbury. The one in Armadale has been for sale for a while might get a better deal. Check which model, one of these was my plan B. If not TRS in Adelaide.

    Cheers Marty

p.s I live in Byford, close to Armadale, if you are stuck for transport and want the head running to Mandurah, I'm sure we could sort something out. If that helps at all. You could call or SMS me. Just make sure you get the engine model right 10P, 14P etc Makes a difference. Also if you need any head work doing, scratching, servicing, pressure testing etc, M & D Auto Engineering in Carlisle.

    Thanks Simon,
Certainly some difference. So far i have been quoted from $2750 to $3800 + freight here in Perth. Will check with AMC Qld and see what I get. There are second hand heads here in Perth but with my luck I would end up with the same problem

    Cheers

    Td5 up and running.

Well it took a while to do the head as I shopped for the cheapest prices I could find and now I have a brand new AMC head on and the all up cost of the job was $3,567. Although I was off the road for ages For me it was worth it in the long run.
    All is good now.
Thanks to all those who gave me clues.
    Cheers

    AMC Head

Bought the head from Rover Craft Perth for $2600 complete with valves. Have them in stock. Found with the Aus dollar down it was of no value to import and I would have had to pay GST on top of that.
