Check your front drive shaft asap, if not sooner. Expensive if it lets go.
Hi all.
When slowong down from 60ks or more, there is a strange fluttering almost clanking noise underneath. Any ideas what it may be?

Can you hear a squeaking noise? Usually the drive shaft as mentioned

Thanks for the tips - I was leaning that way myself. With work at the moment haven't had a chance other than crawling under to have a quick look.
Couldn't see or feem any grease nipples, so assume it is original prop. No slack or visible signs of rubbing or wear. Will find out later this week.

Thank you for the helpful replies. Was the front driveshaft - the cardan joint was well past its best. All better now - the missus is even happy driving it again...
