    Yep , will have to see if the person in question is measuring correctly, and unless I'm reading wrong would be worth seeing if he has supply voltage at co675-2, if so , then bridge to co681-1 to eliminate switch and see if he gets reverse lights. I know you want to know about the r position but can't help with that one sorry because I can only go off diagram as well , which doesn't correlate with your received info

    The dillema becomes even deeper cos the conclusion is that the reverse contact of the XYZ switch has nothing to do with the dash indication cos there is R on dash even with F25 removed , or RAVE is wrong or the indication is managed based on a calculation of X, Y, Z and W contact inputs, the problem is that i couldnt find an internal diagram of the IDM nor a clear explanation of the inputs to the instrument pack and without these it's impossible to have a clear and certain answer
