    3 amigos plus friends

    Hello,

Today while driving I had the 3 amigos up. Nothing unusual, i haven't got around to fixing it yet.

Just for something new though, the handbrake light, air suspension light and hill descent lights were on.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of:
    1) what's wrong?
    2) what's causing this?
    3) what's the fix?

Going on holiday in a few weeks and want to make sure this is not going to cause a breakdown

    Cheers,

    Jason

Hi, these are all the warnins which are in the SLABS ECU's protocol, a sign that the ECU has no power or it's completely gone, first of all check fuses F11 engine bay and F28 interior fusebox, if these are good check the ECU's main earth: unplug the second plug from left(C0504) and measure resistance against body on pin 12(the one with the black wire) also check voltage across thos black wire and pins 1(brown/pink wire) and 2(light green wire) with ignition on pos 1/aux, NOT II) but let's hope it's a fuse cos if not it's possible that the ECU has a complete failure

It turns out that the slabs is ok, intermittent fault on the left rear wheel sensor and shuttle valves.

Found the positive battery terminal caked in acid.

Thanks for the use of the nano and hawkeye Mario

Something is strange though cos those fault codes are exclusively ABS related and nothing to do with the SLS warning whatsoever and as long as the warning was on but no fault code logged about SLS it's sign of ECU missbehaviour ... let's hope it was just a glitch

I am a bit ignorant on the electronics side of things, but, could a dodgy power supply(the battery terminal) be causing the problem?

I was also going to check for any loose plugs or terminals although I will get to that tomorrow.

A loose battery clamp should have caused other issues too, like non starting, M+S warnings(on auto) etc not just the SLS warning beside the 4 amigos(3 + brake warning) which had theyr reason based on the fault codes
