Mine does. It's a factory 5 seater too.

Mine has the handle and it has 7 seat on the compliance plate.

X2. Mine doesn't have it as a 7 seater.

Yep, mine doesn't have rear step or inside handle so if I was going to go ahead with the mod then I would have to purchase all the xtras to do it properly.


Id much rather go this route if legal/safe to do so. As said, if I sell this one and buy another I am sure to lose on both ends of the deal - the prices seem too low for sellers of D2's (one dealer told me it was worth no more than $8000 as a trade-in!!)

You will need to get the fold down headrests with ceiling trim, and rear pillar seat belts with interior trims to suit and definitely some kind of rear step.
