Use the Nanocom to monitor the throttle output. Should see it track correctly over the full throttle range for 0-5v. Don't need engine running to test.
I have also been able to generate Driver Demand Error fault code by running with the MAP disconnected. You can try some simple experiments by doing test runs with the MAP and MAF disconnected one at a time to see if it performs differently. If it improves then you know which is faulty as it will revert to default settings.
And if you can post some log data from the Nanocom it may help other diagnose what is going on for you. Some full throttle 0-100 type data would be very useful.
You are in for an interesting trip, but if you can find some AULRO members along the way, someone may be able to help you diagnose what is going on. This trip will definitely make or break your relationship with the Disco.
Cheers.
Nanocom is brand new to me and it didn't come with any instructions. So still learning.....
So tomorrow I will do some more experimenting in the among driving for the trip
But good advice
I will see if I can save some data and work out how to post it.....
The other thing I notice is the volts dont go much above 13 odd volts....
Has new alternator and new battery
How are you measuring voltage?
Try Andrew Curry in Traralgon. He's an Indy LR guy. Can't remember the business name right now though.
Hiline 4x4. I think.
Think Andrews business is called Hiline. Thanks for the tip, I will call him in the morning.
Its a little out of my way, but would be good to get an expert to look at it and hopefully fix it with out to much cost.
As for voltage, just what the Nanocom is reading
OK thanks.
Hiline havent been online for over a year, so wonder if he is still trading? Find out in the morning I guess...
