    Radiator condition /clean/replace

I noticed last night that after a short drive the aircond condenser fan was running when the ac was off.

Is that usually a sign of it running hot and that fan coming on to overcome the excess heat?

Whilst looking , with a good torch , at that fan running, I noticed that the radiator had a fair bit of crud on the face of it. Not really bad but noticable.

Is there an external clean with a pressure washer or a chemical clean you can do with it still in the car or out of the car and also an internal clean or backflush.

Given that a replacement seems to be fairly cheap is it best just to swap it out for a new one myself.

    Pete

    Thanks Ken

Dumb question but where is the ECU on the D2A?

Is that where I was poking around behind the glove box last night?
