    Larger TD5 manifold studs

I've recently purchased a 2000 TD5 with just shy of 240k on the clock. I was told there was a slight issue with the exhaust manifold and it just need a new gasket.

Unfortunately it appears the previous owner had stripped some of the threads in the engine block for the studs to mount in to.

I'm looking at purchasing a set of Wurth M10 studs and copper bolts but am open to other ideas! Ideally I'd like to find a solution within the country instead of having to wait 2-4 weeks for the part to arrive.

Depending on which studs are gone ( in the head) you can either helicoil them and replace with original size , or just get your m10 studs locally , I think the main problem is that you'll find your manifold is warped , you will need to sort that . drilling out to 10 mm and a deweb will help to stop it from happening again
