    Discovery 2 Brake Fluid

    Does anyone know how much brake fuid the system takes. I am thinking about putting some Automec brake fluid in just want to make sure I order the right size bottle.

    you want a minimum of 2l and you want to replace lots of other bits in the system as well.

    silicone brake fluid does not play well with the mineral stuff or vice versa.

    good if you can get it in problem free though.

    Thanks for the info gents.
    I used this stuff with great success in my Triumph Spitfire back in the UK, made a massive difference to the brakes.

    If your using Dot5 brake fluid, make sure every seal is compatible with it. If not, your in for a world off pain. I'd stick with a high quality dot 4.
    It's not as simple as flushing the system when using Dot5.
